Sounds of the Season
Christmas at the Ryman
What: A Christmas concert featuring Amy Grant and Vince Gill. This powerhouse musical couple will present their Christmas show – which sold out nine shows in 2016 – at the Ryman here in Nashville!

A Very Merry Christmas with Dave Barnes and Special Guests
What: An evening of Christmas cheer led by GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Dave Barnes. Songs will include classics like “All I Want for Christmas is You” and other familiar tunes! A great date night or night out with friends. Hosted at the Nashville Symphony, this will be a fun way to get in the Christmas spirit!

Home Alone in Concert
What: A live performance of the music of Home Alone (scored by John Williams) while the movie plays overhead on a large screen. This would be fun for the whole family or for anyone who loves classic Christmas films – or live orchestral music!

Christmas Light Displays
Nashville has numerous gorgeous Christmas light displays! Many of the old mansions in the area set up beautiful lights. Here are a few to check out.
Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood
What: A mile-long walking path through the Cheekwood Estate gardens, illuminated with one million Christmas lights! In addition to the sparkling glow of the Christmas lights, there are real reindeer, a s’mores pit, carolers, a chance to meet Santa and more! Late-night pricing is lower than peak and group rates are available as well.

The Dancing Lights of Christmas
What: This stunning drive-through Christmas light display is synced up to a number of familiar tunes. It’s a fun evening for family and friends of all ages as the mesmerizing lights “dance” in time with the music! There are over one and a half million lights in this display. Prices are by car, so make sure to pack yours full.
When: November 17th through December 31st, rain or shine. Find out location and pricing here.
Christmas Lights at the Opryland Hotel
What: The Christmas decorations at the Opryland Hotel are stunning and free for you to browse. Take an evening, grab some hot cocoa or coffee, and stroll through the resort’s beautifully decorated trees and displays. The Magnolia Lawn also features a beautiful Nativity display, complete with special lights and an audio narration.
When: November 10th through January 1st, from 4:00 PM till midnight daily. Find more information here.
Nashville Christmas Lights Tour
What: A two-and-a-half hour tour of Nashville from the fancy neighborhoods to manors and lanes. Climb aboard the bus at the start and enjoy this guided tour of the best Christmas lights and decor Nashville has to offer. In addition to modern styles, the tour stops by the Lotz House in nearby Franklin, which is decorated in the style of a mid-1860s Christmas! From residential displays to animatronic sets, this tour won’t disappoint.
