Who can receive an IV re-hydration treatment?

Who administers the IVs?
All of our customers are treated by a registered nurse or licensed physician. Recovery Room's mission is to ensure that we have the highest quality medical staff so that you will have the best experience possible. Do I have to reserve services in advance?

So, how long does it take?
Our treatments typically take 20-30 minutes for one-liter of IV fluid. These times may vary a bit depending on if you get add-on services like a B-12 shot or an extra liter of fluid.
Are group discounts available?
Yes, we offer 15% off treatments if you book a group of 5 or more receiving an IV hydration treatment. Group treatments must occur in the same day.
Do you offer packages for bridal/groomsmen/bachelor/bachelorette parties or girls' nights out?
YES! We can accommodate any size group in the same location. The group discount of 15% applied for groups of 5 or more clients receiving an IV hydration treatment. We recommend you book in advance to ensure that we can treat you entire party.
What about even larger groups or corporate events?
We can handle groups of any size! For large events, be sure to reach out to us in advance for special event pricing and accommodation.
If I hate needles, should I avoid IV hydration?
We do everything that we can to make the experience as safe and comfortable as we can. Our highly-trained nursing staff makes certain that your IV is administered in the most professional way. We often serve customers that feel uncomfortable with needles, and they praise us on making the process easy and relaxing.
What are in the IVs?
The IVs we use contain the “Lactated Ringer’s solution” which basically means it is a blend of saline and electrolytes in a perfectly balanced solution. On top of that, we can add Toradol and/or Zofran. Toradol is used to reduce moderate-to-severe pain/inflammation while Zofran is used to relieve GI distress/nausea.
What are the benefits?
There are countless benefits to making sure that your body is at optimal hydration levels, but the reason you should use IV hydration in particular is because it is the fastest, most efficient way to hydrate. Are IVs safe?
Yes, the complication rate of IV fluid infusion is less than 1%. There are a few potential side effects to be aware of like bruising, soreness, and very rarely infection and anaphylaxis. Our staff can review with you all the risks a benefits of IV infusion prior to receiving a treatment.
Do I need a prescription?
Not unless you are pregnant.
What if I am pregnant?
While our treatments are safe, we will need a prescription for IV Therapy filled out by your OB-GYN practitioner in order to provide treatment. We will avoid medications that could be harmful to your child. Have your doctor call us (615-680-9694) about this service for pregnancy-induced nausea ("morning sickness").
